​​...was organized to coordinate community donations of back-to-school supplies for public elementary school students in need in April of 2003. In 2005 middle and high schools were added to the list of recipients. A list of basic supplies is complied from the schools' delegates, purchased and allocated to the schools for distribution to their students. S.T.A.R.S. is a 100% volunteer organization.
